We all want love in our lives, but how do you find love that lasts? Isn’t this the question that bothers most of us?
Whether you are dating, single, or married, don’t you want to find true love that lasts a lifetime?
There is actually no right or wrong way of finding love. Love actually, just happens! You really don’t need to find it
I’ve been getting a lot of messages from my readers, asking me to write on this topic. So, for those of you who want to know ways on how to find love in their lives, hope this post helps.
Love is beautiful, and as with all things of the heart – there is magic in finding love! The best thing you can do is become a lovable person – a love teacher, and when that happens – true love happens
Many people struggle with love because they don’t understand it. I guess it’s not their fault because none of us grew up with parents who were relationship experts, nor did we study books on relationship advice!
For most of us, seeking love has been an adventure in trial and errors. Some of course have managed to find real love, while others sometimes mistake infatuation for true love. What is your kind of love?
Let me begin by clarifying the difference between the two.
“Love is not an equation, it is not a contract, and it is not a happy ending. Love is the slate under the chalk, the ground that buildings rise, and the oxygen in the air. It is the place you come back to, no matter where you’re headed.”

Infatuation and True Love

Infatuation is when you tend to get that “butterflies in my stomach’ kind of feeling! I’m sure it’s happened with most of you!!
When you are infatuated, you aren’t able to stay away from the person you think you love. You feel that you’ve finally found the love of your life – and a person of your dreams.
You get a euphoric feeling when you’re with the person. And when you’re away from them, you’re either very happy or excited for meeting them the next time or you’re completely down in the dumps if you’re unable to see them.
However, infatuation doesn’t last forever. Sooner or later, you realize this unrealistic feeling and come back to your baseline level of happiness.
If however, you’re still together, which is rare, you both advance into the ‘true love’ stage, which is also called unconditional love.

Can you make out the difference between love and lust when you are in a relationship? Is it love or lust – doesn’t this question confuse you?
Sometimes you might think you are in love without really realizing that it’s not love but just lust.
Everything is SO intense in the beginning of a relationship – your feelings, emotions, desires, the passion, intimacy, and romance.
So how do you know whether it’s just sex appeal or true love you feel for the person?
It’s been a while since I wrote about love and the topic on love and lust is something I wanted to share with you because I know many singles and married lots would benefit from it.
I’ve heard of couples, singles and married, who often mistake lust to be love. How do you make out whether it is love or lust? Isn’t it a question that puzzles many people?
They aren’t able to make out until it’s very late, while others who are already in a marital relationship often wonder whether love and lust still remains in their marriage.
Many married couples end up in divorce because what they thought to be love turns out to be mere lust.
Generally, you don’t really fall in love at first sight, contrary to what most people believe. It’s mostly ‘lust at first sight’. Lust is what brings two people together initially. Am I right?
Love usually starts out as lust and the two might even overlap somewhere in the relationship, or lust might never turn into love at all.

Infidelity has many forms. Besides the commonly known physical infidelity, you can now be unfaithful emotionally and mentally, while you are online. These are also impacting lives in negative ways.

Whether you are married, unmarried, or in a relationship, I am sure this post will have some lessons to take away and keep for life. You might have some experience even.
These are the times when you see and hear many people getting into affairs, on the social networking sites.
Social media cheating is what I would call it, as it’s about people getting intimate emotionally and mentally with someone other than their spouse.
Of course, many a times these virtual relationships take a real form and create a parallel in the real world to the relationships that people have with their spouses.
It’s a fact that the place most people consider safe to cheat on their spouse is the social media. It mostly starts there! Don’t tell me you don’t know about it all!
But quite often these social media cheaters are caught red-handed. And once that happens, usually the sky falls on their marriage, which is destroyed beyond repair.

Isn’t domestic violence like a deadly virus that’s spreading globally? Why is abuse at home on the rise even in the developed countries?
Domestic abuse has become sort of a disease now, so much so that we need an awareness month to address it just as we do for breast cancer.
Yes, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month in America. I find it the perfect time to write on this topic as it really touches my heart and deserves attention by men and women alike.
Why is this sickening behavior getting out of proportion and what stops us from taking control over this man-made cancer?
There might be many reasons for why domestic violence is on the rise, but there’s one personal quality that can act as a deterrent and an antidote – self control.
What you also need is LUCK – love, understanding, compassion, and kindness.
May be that’s too easy to say because the situations that lead to violence aren’t that simple. And, self-control isn’t a child’s play either. Love too either ceases to exist or loses its magic with time.
How else can we deal with domestic abuse, which makes one out of three women suffer around the world? That’s really too much, isn’t it?
You’d be surprised to know that it’s not only women who’re the victims, but even men report being abused by women!
However, the number of men as victims is much lower and their cases are mostly not as severe as those of women who’re abused by men.

Are you happy in the relationship with your partner or spouse? Do you still feel as close and comfortable with your partner as you did in your earlier days?
It’s a fact that any relationship undergoes various phases and has its shares of ups and downs. Nevertheless, you can make it a happy relationship by making some efforts.
